Badman Charters is an experienced fishing service on Lake Erie
Dedicated to providing all anglers who fish on 'The Badman' with a truly memorable charter experience
So then it doesn't matter if you're an experienced angler, a first timer to Lake Erie, or a frequent visitor wanting to go on your first Lake Erie fishing trip. Captain Joe will take the time to show what it takes to hook and land walleye!
Remember, you shouldn't always restrict your trip to just Ohio waters! Fish with Badman Charters and you'll see that it's possible to fish both Canadian and Ohio waters on any of your Lake Erie fishing trips. While fishing in Ohio is usually good, there are days when the trip must go north to have a successful day on Erie. There are 4 distinct advantages to fishing Pelee and Canadian waters:
- This is to your advantage giving fishermen a "Greater Angler Success", which means more fish opportunities!
- On Erie fishing charters while in Canadian waters around Pelee Island, anglers can still use two rods!
- As the summer leads into fall, when it's tough in Ohio, some of the best fishing can be found across the border on Lake Erie!
- Pelee Island means more fishing opportunities for walleyes, perch, and smallmouth bass!
Lake Erie is well known for its trophy walleye fishing:
Every year, it produces large numbers of excellent walleyes, suitable for those who wish to catch them for table fare, and large numbers of trophy wallhangers. You can always find some on Lake Erie. There's no bad time to book your charter. Come and experience some of the best walleye fishing in the western basin.
Successful enough to limit early on your walleye charter:
The charter policy has always been if we finish early only on a charter, you can spend the rest of your time fishing for other species or decide if you want to return to the dock for an early departure. When the charter is perch fishing only and if the trip would limit early, that is the only exception where the charter will return to the dock. This is due to the difficulty of getting perch cleaned in a timely manner.
Fish Cleaning:
It is an important part of the trip. Fish cleaning is also available for those who wish to relax after a day on the lake. We can arrange all that after the day's catch. Fishing multiple days, the fish cleaners can hold your catch until the day you leave, or you can pick them up at your convenience. For those wishing to clean their own, you will be directed to the usable and clean fish cleaning facilities.
The Badman always allows groups to decide which technique will work for them, whether it's a drifting or trolling
