Please call my toll free number, (800) 266-2520, for information regarding charters or use regular email, reservation form, to request information. Please be specific about what information you need, dates, location, etc.

Make your reservation or inquiry and enjoy charter boat fishing on Lake Erie or Lake Ontario Charter Fishing

All that is needed to make a reservation is a $100.00 deposit for each fishing day. This will confirm your prime fishing date with Badman Charters. If you need lodging it can be reserved at one of Lake Erie's full housekeeping accommodations with a $40.00 deposit for each night lodging, or we'll send you information so you can find your own.

Remember, multi-day packages are offered to help makes the decision making process alot easier. They are set up to make prime time seasonal bookings more trouble free and relaxing. Based on a group of six, the package rates are more affordable then if your charter trip was booked day by day and you had to find your own lodging. If extended lodging is necessary to make your trip more comfortable, simply add an extra $25 per night for each person.

Deposit Information

There is a $100.00 per trip deposit required upon making your reservation. If lodging is arranged by Badman Charters, then a $40.00 deposit for each night, is required. A trip confirmation, maps, and other important instructions will be sent to you as soon as your deposit is received.

Weather Cancellations & Rescheduling and Refund Policy

If the trip is forced to cancel because of bad weather, your deposit will be refunded or we can reschedule your charter date at your convenience. If on the rescheduled date another problem, other then bad weather occurs, your deposit will not be refunded. Your deposit is refundable with 30 days advance notice of cancellation. If you cancel less then 30 days and the charter date cannot be rescheduled, all deposits will be forfeited.

Since I own one boat and run one fishing charter per day, you know I will be your captain and more:

This means you will get a full day on Lake Erie and you'll experience both the morning and afternoon bites,
You will not be charged extra for gas if the trip goes a set distance, You will never be surprised with additional hidden costs,

The Badman will go wherever the fish are. It could be west to the Michigan line, east into the central basin by Avon point and north into Canadian waters.

This allows me to work closely with you before your group arrives, as well as when your already here,
I talk to you a couple days before the trip to discuss any weather problems,
The day you arrive for your trip, I discuss fishing locations with you, how we did that day, and purchasing of fishing licenses.
This is important because we might fish Canadian waters,:
In this case, we go to Pelee Island in Ontario waters to purchase licenses,
Keep in mind that we can adjust your start time for your day's trips. We can begin later or earlier to adjust for arrival or departure schedules to fit your needs,
If we finish early, we'll fish for Smallmouth Bass or other species!

Tackle if you have a favorite rod & reel (or feel free to use ours. The equipment is for client use in the event they wish not to bring their own or purchase an outfit for the trip. In the event a rod and reel is lost by the individual overboard or damaged beyond repair by misuse, it is the clients responsibility to reimburse Badman Charters).

Important Ohio Fishing License information

An Ohio Fishing License can be obtained on the day of your charter trip from various locations located around the area or at West Harbor Marina. Here are the most recent fees:

Resident Fishing License - $19.00 For persons age 16 through 65 who have resided in Ohio for the past 6 months.
One-Day Fishing License - $11.00 The One-Day Fishing License may be exchanged for credit, minus writing fee, towards the purchase of an annual fishing license.
Annual Nonresident License - $40.00
3-Day Resident/Nonresident License - $19.00
A reissued license may be obtained from any license vendor for a fishing license that has been lost, stolen, or destroyed. The cost is $3.00.
